Festival of national traditions in Khabarovsk

In November 2013, a ceremonial reception hall of the Azerbaijan restaurant “Ali” gathered mothers of various Nations to participate in the Festival of national traditions, dedicated to mother’s day and the birthday of the Assembly of the peoples of Khabarovsk Krai.

The festival was organized by the “Assembly of the peoples of the Khabarovsk Krai”, the Women’s club “Friendship without borders” and Autonomous nonprofit organization “Children and adults” with the support of the Khabarovsk regional branch of all-Russian Azerbaijani Congress.

The celebration began with words of gratitude to mothers, representatives of the national associations, they on this festive evening received flowers from the hands of Valery Hidirova, the acting President of the Council of Assembly of peoples of Khabarovsk Krai.

The audience and participants of the first “Festival of national traditions” was lucky enough not only to divide the tea party in Uzbek, but to listen to Orthodox ritual singing, learning traditional bow in Korean, to get acquainted with Yakutian rite of blessing, go through a cleansing ritual of indigenous peoples of the North, to admire the Ukrainian rite of dressing the bride in front of the crown, to be treated with Continue reading
